Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Vamicode AI Labs collects through vamicode.com, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We have tried to write it in plain language rather than legal boilerplate.

The short version: we collect only what you type into our forms, we use it to reply to you, we do not sell it, and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this website.

Who we are

What we collect

Information you give us

We collect personal information only when you choose to send it to us through a form on this site.

  • Contact form. Your name and email address, and optionally your company, phone number, the type of work you are enquiring about, and the message you write.
  • Email updates. Your email address, if you ask to be notified about our launch or sign up for updates.
  • Direct contact. Anything you include when you email, call, or message us on WhatsApp.

Please do not send us passwords, payment card numbers, government ID numbers, or other sensitive credentials through the contact form. If a project needs that kind of information, we will arrange a secure way to share it.

Information collected automatically

Our web server keeps standard access logs — IP address, browser type, the pages requested, and the time of the request. These are generated by the hosting infrastructure for security and troubleshooting, not to build a profile of you.

What we do not do

We think it is as useful to be clear about what is absent:

  • No analytics or advertising trackers. This website does not load Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or social media tracking scripts.
  • No selling or renting of data. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to anyone.
  • No profiling or automated decisions. We do not use your data to make automated decisions about you.
  • No comments or user accounts. This site has no public comment sections and no visitor sign-ups, so we collect nothing through those routes.

Why we use your information

  • To reply to you. Answering your enquiry is the whole reason the contact form exists.
  • To deliver work you have engaged us for, including project communication and support.
  • To send updates you asked for, if you signed up for them. Every such email includes a way to unsubscribe.
  • To keep the site secure and working, including preventing spam and abuse.
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations where the law requires us to keep records.

Where the law requires a legal basis for processing, ours is your consent when you submit a form, our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and securing our site, and the performance of a contract where we are working with you.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising or tracking cookies.

A small number of technical cookies may be set to make the site work — for example, by the page-caching layer that keeps the site fast, or by WordPress itself if a member of our team is signed in to administer the site. These do not follow you across other websites.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site will continue to work normally if you do.

Where your information goes

Form submissions are stored in this website’s database and are also emailed to us so that we see them promptly. We use a small number of service providers to make that possible, and they process data only on our instructions:

  • Our web host, which operates the servers where this site and its database run.
  • Our email provider, which delivers form notifications and our replies to you.

Depending on where those providers operate, your information may be processed on servers outside your country. We take reasonable steps to make sure it stays protected wherever it is handled.

Beyond that, we disclose personal information only where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish or defend a legal claim.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries that do not become projects are kept for up to 24 months, so that we have context if you come back to us, and then deleted.
  • Client project records are kept for the duration of our work together and for as long afterwards as tax and contract law requires.
  • Email subscriptions are kept until you unsubscribe.
  • Server access logs are kept for a short period on a rolling basis.

If you would like your enquiry deleted sooner, just ask.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

  • Tell you what we hold about you, and give you a copy of it.
  • Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
  • Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it.
  • Stop using it for a particular purpose, including unsubscribing from updates.
  • Withdraw consent you previously gave, without affecting anything we did before you withdrew it.

Email info@vamicode.com and we will respond within 30 days. We will not charge you for making a request, and we will not treat you differently for having made one.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you have the right to complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Keeping your information safe

The site is served over an encrypted connection, access to the database and mailbox is restricted to people who need it, and we keep the platform and its components updated. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the protection of your information seriously and will tell you promptly if a breach affects you.

Children

This site is intended for businesses and professional enquiries. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Links to other sites

Our site links out to other places — for example, WhatsApp, or our profiles on other platforms. Once you follow a link, you are on someone else’s site and their privacy policy applies. We are not responsible for how they handle your information.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal information, we will update this page and change the date at the top. For significant changes we will make the update clear rather than quietly editing the text.
