An enduring masterpiece of sovereign textile ancestry. Commissioned on the centuries-old pit looms of Varanasi, the Maharani Raktambari recreates the legendary 16th-century Mughal Shikargah scroll. Each wild beast—regal lions, running deer, and celestial peacocks—is sculpted independently using the arduous Kadwa technique, where pure silver filaments wrapped in molten 24k gold are hand-interlocked into pure dyed crimson mulberry silk.
Over 210 days of continuous rhythmic manual labor yield a drape of commanding weight and regal grace, designed to be worn on dynastic wedding occasions and preserved across five generations.
Ustad Mohammad Ansari (7th Generation)
Woven in the historic Madanpura quarter of Varanasi on a family-owned jacquard-free pit loom. The Ansari lineage has preserved the rare Kadhua Shikargah design codes since the reign of Awadh nawabs, creating only four such pieces per calendar year.

Reflections from clients who acquired archival Viraasat weaves
"The weight of the silver zari against the mulberry silk feels like wearing a living piece of 16th-century history. For my daughter's wedding in Udaipur, there was simply no substitute."
"The video salon experience was intimate and respectful. When the wooden crate arrived in Dubai with the sealed certificates and raw silk smell, our entire family gathered in awe."
